A day in the life…

The National Account Manager will champion the iconic Russell Stover brand through appropriate promotion and pricing activities. To achieve our goal of aggressively gaining market share, we are looking for a strong analytical and sales driven mindset with a track record of success in developing strategic, winning strategies with wholesale partners. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience thriving in a fast-growing CPG environment with the ability to be a collaborative, responsive partner with both internal and external customers.

What you will be doing…

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with retail buyers and teams
• Achieve true net sales growth through accurate performance analysis, forecasting and planning for the everyday inline business
• Manage budgets and funds to achieve optimal ROI
• Ensure consistent forecast accuracy for everyday items on a monthly and annual basis
• Develop and execute ongoing distribution objectives for Kroger
• Develop and execute new item presentations to meet current and future objectives
• Plan and implement promotional plans
• Budget and manage trade funds
• Collect competitive activity on an ongoing basis and perform as a category expert
• Provide category management and analytical support to the team using 84.51/Market 6 platforms
• Manage the weekly and seasonal internal business reviews using POS and category data through 84.51/Market 6 platforms
• Manage the E-Comm business collaborating with external and internal partners

Do you have what it takes? 

(Basic Qualifications)

• Extensive knowledge and experience with 84.51/Market 6 platforms
• 3 years of experience in a combination of sales, category, and analysis

Do you stand above the rest? 

(Preferred Qualifications)

• Direct account management or sales support in CPG with Kroger
• Account management experience in confection or food/beverage
• Experience pulling, analyzing, and presenting Kroger data platforms (84.51/Market 6)
• Strong understanding and experience leveraging syndicated IRI data
• Effective story building and public speaking for internal/ external presentations.
• Experience with promotional planning/deduction management systems or proven experience with managing financials related to promotional product spending
• Ability to create financial recommendations utilizing basic ROI analysis
• High level of follow-up, availability, and responsiveness to internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability in public speaking and effective customer presentations
• Extensive knowledge and experience with channel and/or customers are highly desired
