Join us for an eleven‑week summer internship where you’ll gain hands‑on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from teams across one of America’s most iconic chocolate brands. A day in the life…
As a Procurement Intern, you will gain hands on experience with end-to end procurement process, helping ensure materials, packaging, and production timelines stay on track. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, assist in monitoring key workflows, and contribute to reporting and analysis that drive informed decision making. This internship is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn how procurement functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and who enjoys problem solving, organization and continuous improvement.
What you will be doing…
- Support the tracking and maintenance of packaging requirements to ensure all FD&C updates are accurately reflected.
- Monitor tasks within the RSC Intervals process and identify where each item sits in the workflow.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to help move interval tasks toward timely completion.
- Prepare and distribute daily or weekly material alerts to highlight potential shortages and keep stakeholders informed.
- Track upcoming purchase orders and verify that materials are scheduled to arrive ahead of production needs.
- Adjust delivery timelines as needed when production schedules shift.
- Investigate and follow up on past‑due purchase orders to resolve delays.
- Assist in developing a dashboard that visualizes week‑over‑week production changes, partnering with IT to build and refine reporting tools.
- Participate in weekly check-ins with your manager
- Attend professional development workshops and networking events
- Deliver a final presentation showcasing your project outcomes and learnings.
If visiting our manufacturing plants, you will be expected to:
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant’s food safety and quality objectives.
- Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
- Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

(Basic Qualifications)
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
