A day in the life…

As the Sr Operations Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing operational and supply chain costs and improving planning & reporting processes. In this role, you will work closely with the Procurement and Logistics teams to provide perspective and support for the financial aspects of their business to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning, and analysis. You will need to have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. The Sr Operations Financial Analyst works within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the CFO, VP Procurement, and other senior leadership (Operations, Logistic).

What you will be doing…

• Provide financial support to Procurement and Operations teams
• Partner with the Procurement teams to manage the Raw- & Packaging Material purchases, identify risks and deviations, maintain constant outlook for the year, and set material standard costs for budget
• Analyze inventory processes from a finance perspective and enforce process adherence to optimize net working capital
• Partner with the Supply Chain teams to optimize the logistic processes for inbound and outbound
• Partner and/or lead special projects in your area as well as in related areas
• Build and maintain monthly reports to support financial goals
• Collect, analyze, and report data to management with the goal of improving efficiency and reducing costs
• Analyze monthly variances vs plan, communicate results to management, and recommend interventions to ensure target delivery
• Lead forecast & planning process for procurement and distribution expenses and ensure assumptions are aligned with key stakeholders
• Support and assist with streamlining reporting processes

Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
• 3+ years of finance experience
• Experience providing finance support to procurement and/or supply chain
• Experience analyzing data
• Proficiency in Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred)
• Willingness to drive and implement change
