A day in the life…
The Business Analyst has responsibilities in understanding the market on a visceral level, keeping key stakeholders abreast of developments in the market, and sharing actionable insights to enable profitable share growth. Reporting into the Global Insights Senior Manager this is a critical role in guiding the strategies and actions on the business, with visibility up through the highest levels of the company.
What you will be doing…
- Conducting fact-based analysis of category, competition, customer, and company in-market trends, including monthly IRI reporting and ad hoc analyses to inform marketing business decisions
- Analyzing consumer key metrics (IRI Panel) and in-market sales developments by season, product line, and channel/customer
- Leading consumption reporting, including weekly updates to the company and reporting up through Lindt Global Senior Management
- Providing analysis on pricing and promotional activities on volume (i.e., elasticities), in collaboration with Category and Revenue Growth Management teams
- Collaborating on new product forecasts and monitoring new item performance, including incrementality, in partnership with the Marketing Team
- Analyzing in-market trends and comparing vs. company forecasts as part of the monthly S&OP cycle

We are seeking candidates who are energized by uncovering actionable insights in partnership with multi-functional partners and making recommendations to accelerate profitable share growth for the company.
(Basic Qualifications)
- In-market Point of Sale (POS) and Panel data and tools (ideally IRI/Circana) experience, to include working with suppliers, pulling reports, distilling insights from the data and reporting
- Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with products distributed in Mass, Food, Drug, Club and Dollar Channels

- Experience in FMCG company with both an Everyday and Seasonal portfolio of products
- Experience with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle
