We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and support employees in the production of our quality-crafted chocolates, ensuring the seamless transition from raw materials to finished goods. This role is integral to maintaining high standards and efficient operations in our production processes.

  • Create daily box plant schedules based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Attend scheduled meetings, including PCS, Personnel, and Scheduling.
  • Direct and guide Coordinators and Leads.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols and foster a positive, harassment-free work environment.
  • Update and manage box plant OPLs and SWIs as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Box Plant and other departments.
  • Communicate personnel shortages to the Assistant Plant Managers as applicable.
  • Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Perform Workday payroll data entry and manage daily attendance records.
  • Lead 5S projects and maintain organization within the Box Plant.
  • Review downtime reports and shift documentation for accuracy, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Train, monitor, and support employees to enhance performance.
  • Identify and resolve the root causes of production issues within the Box Plant.
  • Inspect product quality across production lines.
  • Operate SAP or other computer-based software modules to streamline processes.

Schedule: Monday-Thurday 5:15AM – 3:45PM.

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • A team player with good organizational & analytical skills
  • Must be results-driven with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational and mechanical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
