A day in the life…

As the Senior Sales Financial Analyst you will be a key partner to the Sales department to provide support for the financial aspects of their business to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning, and analysis. You will have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. You can expect to work within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the CFO, VP of Sales, Channel Directors, and Key Account Managers.

What you will be doing…

• Provide financial support to the Sales departments
• Manage trade spending analysis and work with account managers and directors to eliminate waste and increase return on promotional investment
• Recommend actions to improve product mix, gross margin, as well as customer profitability
• Analyze monthly variances vs plan, communicate results to the management team, and recommend interventions to ensure target delivery
• Support key finance / company-wide planning processes including:
  • Annual Budget and Estimates throughout the year
  • Monthly Rolling Net Sales Forecasts
  • Support of Marketing Plan Dialogue (MPD) & Sales Plan Dialogue (SPD)
• Support the preparation of customer negotiations with financial analysis, including financial modeling for new products in the organization
• Creates ad hoc reports as needed by supported departments and Finance Senior Management

Do you have what it takes?
(Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ years of Finance experience
• Sales Finance and Trade Finance experience
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong knowledge of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred)
• Ability to drive and implement change
• Strong analytical skills and technical ability
• Strong communication skills

• FMCG / CPG experience
• SAP experience (S4 / Hana preferred)
