A day in the life…
As the HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role within our HR team, supporting a variety of initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing people reporting, unemployment claims, managing the leave of absence process, and overseeing employee engagement surveys. Additionally, you will support Talent Acquisition with interview scheduling through employee onboarding process.
What you will be doing…
- Create and run various reports for HR management, including people reporting/monthly employee dashboard turnover reporting, ad hoc reporting, etc
- Administer and track leaves of absence by acting as the liaison between vendor, employees and management as needed.
- Administer and track unemployment claims.
- Train and assist managers and employees with navigating Workday self-service tools.
- Plans and implements company wide employee events with oversite.
- Compile employee engagement survey data.
- Schedule interviews for candidates, including arranging travel accommodations.
- Initiate and track background checks and drug screens.
- Initiate, track, and collect new hire paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Track new hires and facilitate new hire orientation.
- Assist with job descriptions and job postings.
- Oversee inventory for interviews and new hire swag.
Do you have what it takes?
(Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
Do you stand above the rest?
(Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of FMLA and leave administration.
- Experience using Workday and Applicant Stack.
- Basic understanding of HR legislation and project planning.
