A day in the life…

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions within the organization. You will support the HR department in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, HR administration, and compliance.

 

What you will be doing…

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers. You will also handle the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all the necessary paperwork and information.

  • Collaborates with Manager, Human Resources and hiring managers to review and understand the functions and qualifications of vacancies.
  • Support and recruit for Manufacturing/Plant roles.
  • Utilize creative means and the latest technologies to research, source, attract, and contact candidates. Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, social media outlets and referrals.
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, qualifications, and cultural fit. Provide timely feedback to candidates.
  • Schedule onsite interviews, arrange travel, etc.
  • Utilize appropriate systems to track sourcing and pipeline information.
  • Post positions on job boards, and research new media locations to attract top talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to support temporary staffing needs.

 

Pre-employment

 

  • Own and lead the pre-employment process including assessment, testing, background, drug screen and/or education verification if applicable.

 

Employee Relations:

 

  • Acts as a point of contact for employees, addressing any concerns or issues they may have. Provide guidance and support in resolving conflicts, managing disciplinary actions, and promoting a positive work environment.

 

Career Development:

  • Identifies candidates that present the skill and ability to grow into skilled positions.

 

Policy Implementation:

 

  • Ensures that HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented within the organization. They may be involved in developing and updating HR policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

 

HR Administration:

 

  • Handles various administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, managing HR databases, and preparing HR reports. They may also assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
     

Compliance:

 

  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, such as equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, labor laws, and health and safety regulations. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and advise management on compliance issues.

 

Do you have what it takes? 

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work in office 5 days each week

Do you stand above the rest? 

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • 3+ years work experience in Recruiting
  • Experience with Workday
  • Experience with manufacturing, fulfillment, distribution center, or similar volume recruiting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem solving
