The Production Supervisor will lead and support employees in the production of our quality crafted chocolates from raw materials to finished goods. The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
 

• Constructs daily box plant schedule based off of the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
• Attends all scheduled meetings, i.e. PCS, Personnel, and Scheduling
• Directs the activities of the Coordinators and Leads
• Works closely with the Purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels
• Ensures that all employees operate in a safe manner
• Ensures that the work environment in the Box Plant is free from harassment of any kind/immediately stops behavior detrimental to a good work environment
• Responsible for initiating/updating box plant OPLs and SWIs
• Serves as the point of contact for other departments and the Box plant
• Ensures that personnel shortages are conveyed to the Assistant Plant Managers, as applicable
• Ensures all employees are following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Completes ADP payroll data entry and daily attendance paperwork
• Oversees all 5S projects in the Box Plant
• Responsible for the upkeep of all 5S areas in the Box Plant
• Spot checks Down Time Reports and other shift paperwork for accuracy during shift
• Directs, controls, monitors, assists, and trains employees assigned to a specific area, lines or teams
• Tracks unaccounted for downtime and takes appropriate action
• Ensures area of responsibility is compliant with AIB standards
• Responsible for determining the Root Cause of Box Plant shortcomings
• Spot checks the quality of products on each operating line
• Familiar with SAP or other computer based software module

Schedule: Monday-Thurday 8:30 AM 8:00PM.  Subject to Change.

Basic Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

• College Degree
• 2-3 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
• A team player with good organizational & analytical skills
• Must be results-driven with good interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership, organizational and mechanical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Bilingual in Spanish
