A day in the life…

As the D2C Data Analyst, you will provide the Direct to Consumer (D2C) team with proactive analytical expertise by building reports, predictive alerts, transforming real-time data into recommended action, and providing technical maintenance on tools, databases, and IT processes. In this position, you will play a key role in determining the direction of the D2C team by finding new ways to leverage available data to build a story, from forecasting retail shop and Eshop product needs to evaluating customer buying trends. As the ideal candidate, you must be detail-oriented, adaptable, open to change in a fast-paced environment, and able to produce excellent results under stressful and time-sensitive deadlines. Must be flexible with work hours depending on IT and/or team needs.


What you will be doing…

  • Provide regular weekly, monthly, and annual analytical reports regarding D2C performance including but not limited to product sales, order accuracy, shipping costs, forecasting, gross profit, market basket analysis, loyalty club performance and customer service related topics.
  • Leverage data analysis to create exception alerts to proactively identify and address issues
  • Connect data from several different sources and teams to build a cohesive story for the management team.
  • Receive, analyze, and respond to a high volume of communication requests each day
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements, explore, and utilize new analytical tools, research into new metrics and process which will enhance customer journey and their engagement.
  • Collaborate with other D2C team members, as well as cross-functionally to gather and analyze data
  • Build reports and create dashboards for other team members to refresh
  • Build and organize data sets from various sources in a cohesive manner, including documentation and relationship structure
  • Troubleshoot all issues related to data, tools, and IT issues for the team as the technical main point of contact


Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivelant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a technical / analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, FIND, COUNTIFS, time functions, etc.)
  • Experience extracting data from SAP, IBP/PPDS, Power BI, and Microsoft Analysis for Office
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to work cross-functionally at various levels of the organization
  • This position is located in Kansas City, MO and relocation assistance is not included

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, VBA
  • 2 years of experience building complex reports or models using Business Intelligence Tools, such as Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.
  • Understanding of networks, servers, and process automation tools.
  • Experience working in a D2C or retail environment
