A day in the life…

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide the Supply Chain Planning team with proactive analytical expertise by building reports, predictive alerts, transforming real-time data into recommended action, and providing technical maintenance on tools, databases, and IT processes. In this position, you will play a key role in uncovering Russell Stover’s Supply Chain data and leveraging the data to build a story, from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the product to the end customer. As the ideal candidate, you must be detail-oriented, adaptable, open to change in a fast-paced environment, and able to produce excellent results under stressful and time-sensitive deadlines. Must be flexible with work hours depending on IT and/or team needs.

What you will be doing…

  • Build key Supply Chain KPI reports to support global Lindt & Sprungli monthly reporting
  • Provide regular weekly, monthly, and annual analytical reports regarding Supply Chain Planning performance including but limited to capacity, production output, scheduling efficiency, inventory performance, obsolescence, and service
  • Leverage data analysis to develop exception alerts to identify Supply Chain gaps and potential issues in order to maintain high customer fill rates, minimize excess inventory, and optimize the Russell Stover distribution network
  • Connect data from several different sources and teams to build a cohesive story for the management team
  • Receive, analyze, and respond to a high volume of communication requests each day
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Purchasing to gather data, and assist in preparation of and management of the S&OP process and related performance reporting
  • Improve organizational capability by training team members on pulling data, data analysis, building reports, and creating dashboards
  • Build and organize data sets from various sources in a cohesive manner, including documentation and relationship structure
  • Troubleshoot all issues related to data, tools, and IT issues for the team as the technical main point of contact
  • Lead monthly excess review meetings and analysis to meet minimal excess inventory objectives
Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of supply chain experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a technical/analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, FIND, COUNTIFS, time functions, etc.)
  • Understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals, including Demand Planning, Production, and Inventory Management concepts

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience extracting data from SAP, IBP/PPDS, and Microsoft Analysis for Office
  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, VBA
  • 2 years of experience building complex reports or models using Business Intelligence Tools, such as Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, etc.
  • Understanding of networks, servers, and process automation tools.
  • Experience working in the CPG industry
  • APICS, IBF, or any type of forecasting certification
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to work cross-functionally at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into simple terms. Must be able to effectively communicate with both IT and the business simultaneously
