The Industrial Performance (IP) Supervisor is the catalyst for change in our Abilene Manufacturing Plant. This role drives relentless performance improvement through our LPW (Lindt Production Way) Operational Excellence Program execution. This role works collaboratively with Engineering, Production Planning, Human Resources, EH&S, Finance, Logistics, Procurement and QA/R&D to improve the organization by supporting performance driven people development.
Key responsibilities include:

• Operational support
• Ensure that the factory focus on top priorities
• Measure performance and prioritize losses: Resources Utilization, Bottlenecks, Transformation Cost, Production Variances, Delivery and Productivity.
• Use performance tracking systems to monitor and take actions on manufacturing performance.
• Work with IP Manager and site management team to determine objectives for improvement teams, activities and deliverables.
• Frequently review the operational standards: waste, rework, over usage, labor, routings, nominal speeds, OEE, TE.
• Use manufacturing standards database.
• Create the gap importing best practices from other departments and plants.
• LPW support
• Support the IP manager with the strategy execution.
• Assess the quality and the speed of LPW improvement teams with IP Manager.
• Support improvement team leaders for the correct application of the methodology.
• Knowledge Management & People Development Support
• Promote the exchange of information, good and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Possible to replace the manufacturing experience for demonstrated office and analytical skills.
• Functional knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of financial analysis
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Conditional formatting
• Linking documents
• Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
• Data Validation
• Data Trend analysis
• Complex formulas including H lookups,v lookups if then, and iferror statements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Good organization, planning, and analytical problem solving skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office and integrated systems.
