A day in the life…

As the Senior Marketing Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key partner to the Marketing team providing financial insights and analysis to support marketing strategies and decision making to help drive profitable growth. In this role, you will need a strong understanding of both finance and marketing. You will need to have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. You will work cross functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Sales and Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate profitability analysis for new product development.
• Analyze opportunities for profitability improvement of existing products.
• Work cross functionally with marketing, operations, sales and innovation teams when considering new product launches and existing product improvement projects. 
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process for marketing department operating expenses.
• Develop financial reporting to assess the impact of marketing initiatives and investments.
• Oversee allocation and tracking of marketing budget ensuring that spend is aligned with company priorities.
• Analyze monthly variances vs plan and communicate to management team.
• Own Marketing related monthly close process and reporting to Group.

(Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of Financial Analyst experience
• Strong Marketing Finance experience
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong understanding of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred)
• Willingness to drive and implement change
• Team player who leads by example

• Master’s degree
• 5+ years of Finance Management experience
• FMCG / CPG experience 
• SAP experience (S4 / Hana preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and technical ability
• Outstanding leadership skills

• Strong influencing skills and the ability to lead informal teams
• Proven track record of developing high potential talent
