Description
The Order Management Analyst is part of a team working to ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders from our manufacturing plants to our customers. This role is being developed to track our ability as a company to fill orders completely and on time. This role is the central point of contact between manufacturing, LSNA which is a shared service organization for sales and distribution, and our 3PL network to ensure that order processing issues are investigated and resolved.  

Key responsibilities include:

Order Management
  • Engage Sales, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management and LSNA to modify deployment and final shipment details to meet 100% fill rate.
  • Interact with transportation carriers to expedite customer deliveries as needed.
  • Interact with forward warehouses to insure complete and timely order fulfillment.
  • Effectively address complex customer issues and handles complex customer orders.
  • Performs issue resolution and root cause analysis. Resolves customer problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Work within multiple systems that often require manual manipulation of data to determine root cause and overall order issues that require problem solving on behalf of customers.
  • Proactively contacts customers when identifying availability issues and proposes solutions to prevent customer dissatisfaction.
  • Upholds the values of exemplary customer service by modeling behavior and leadership.
  • Responds to both internal sales team and customer calls, emails related to order management issues.
  • Effectively and timely communicates with all levels of the organization by following company standards of team-building, recognition, and professionalism
Research and Reporting
  • Research systems to determine product status to provide both internal and external customers data and to proactively alert them to potential issues.
  • Provide analysis for internal and external customers to ensure company compliance with on-time deliveries.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify and implement corrective action(s) to prevent issue from reoccurring in the logistics network.
  • Identify patterns and opportunities to reduce overages, shortages and damage for customer deliveries.
  • Direct and coordinate returns and OSD research and reporting.
  • Maintain communication channels with both internal and external customers
  • Generate various reports on key metrics (Sailing Compliance, OS&Ds, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the Sales teams and customers to find solutions and avoid future customer logistic deductions.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics, order management or customer service
  • Advanced Word and Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics, order management or customer service
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in logistics coordination
  • Process driven and results-oriented
  • Team focused and collaborative
  • Strong problem solving/root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and detailed information verbally and/or in writing
  • Ability to operate effectively in stressful situations
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, organize and coordinate activities effectively in complex situations with great attention to detail
  • Preferred knowledge and experience working with Electronic Data Interface (EDI)
