A day in the life…

As a Janitor/Housekeeper it is your job to ensure that the breakroom, bathrooms, general walkways, lobby, and offices are kept at the cleanest standard possible. You will be responsible for the first impression that visitors see when they come into our facility. The perfect candidate for this role is someone who takes pride in a clean work environment and is a positive influence on those around them.

What you will be doing…

• Clean office daily including, vacuuming and dusting all areas
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance halls and outside areas
• Clean breakroom daily including emptying ash trays, cleaning tables, chairs, counter and sinks, sweeping, mopping and dusting.
• Clean bathrooms daily
• Emptying trashcans throughout warehouse and outside
• Sweep plant floor and machine scrub floors
• Collect wet mops and dust mops weekly for cleaning vendor
• Maintain cleanliness of eyewash-shower stations, drinking fountains and warehouse sink
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report/reorder as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

(Basic Qualifications)

• HS Diploma or GED
• Good Organization skills
• Detail-oriented
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead
• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for the duration of shift
