A day in the life…

As the Sr Analyst you will have a strong involvement and local lead of Non-Financial Reporting and sustainability programs. To take on this role you must have high analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. You can expect to work within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management internally and with the Lindt organization.  This position reports to the CFO.

What you will be doing…

Strong involvement and local lead of Non-Financial Reporting (NFR) Project

  • Define and implement the non-financial reporting process for Russell Stover in close collaboration with Lindt Group NFR Champion / NFR Controller.
  • Responsible to inform Russell Stover leadership and appropriate stakeholders about Lindt group information.
  • Act as first point of contact for Non-Financial Reporting for Lindt Group NFR Champion / NFR Controller and within Russell Stover.

Coordinate data collection / internal non-financial reporting

  • Coordinate the internal non-financial reporting closings
  • Support Data Collector and Data Validator in the collection & review of relevant data and own the coordination of data collection process for Russell Stover
  • Act as a Data Validator for KPIs appointed by the CFO
  • Safeguard data submission deadlines for Russell Stover defined by Lindt Group Controlling (defined in Non-Financial Reporting instructions) and adhere to principles set out in the non-financial reporting manual
  • Participate in Lindt Group audit process if required and act as first point of contact for local audits
  • Follow up on recommendations brought up by the Lindt Group and local auditors
  • Participate in non-financial budget and YE-review meetings

Non-Financial Reporting Regulations

  • Keep track of latest developments in reporting standards for US legislations and assess impact on reporting
  • Attend NFR trainings and train the organization on the training content
  • If necessary, inform the Lindt Group NFR Champion / NFR Controller about potential group-wide impac

Non-Financial Reporting Manual

  • Participate in review rounds of the Non-Financial Reporting Manual and provide feedback
  • Participate in yearly update call of changes in the NFR Manual
  • Train local data collectors & validators as per requirements

Lindt Internal Control System (LICS) for Non-Financial Reporting

  • In cooperation with the dedicated LICS champion, define application of standard controls
  • Perform defined LICS controls in line with description stored in BWise and adhere to principles set out in the non-financial reporting manual or coordinate the LICS control performance and testing together with the local LICS champion
Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of Accounting/Controlling/Audit or Sustainability experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Advanced know-how in MS Office, affinity for IT
  • Strong knowledge of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP, Hyperion, etc.)
  • Willingness to drive and implement change
  • Precise and organized work style
  • Able to work under pressure and to set priorities
  • Team player
  • Solution oriented work attitude
  • High quality standards
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to engage, communicate and establish business partnering at all operational levels

Do you stand above the rest?

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of Finance experience
  • FMCG / CPG experience is strongly preferred
  • SAP experience (S4 / Hana preferred)
  • Strong analytical, logical, and conceptual capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
