A day in the life…

The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst is responsible for validating and resolving Russell Stover’s order delivery compliance to its customers. This includes activities related to On-time & In-Full Performance that result in customer fines and other logistic and compliance-related deductions. The individual in this position is responsible for developing and maintaining processes to track, validate, and dispute customer short pays, fines, and other deductions. The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst will work closely with the Customer Solutions Leads to identify incompliance trends and create mitigation plan for implementation. This position will require knowledge of the order-to-cash process and extensive knowledge of the contractual supply chain requirements Russell Stover has with customers including Customer Compliance Requirements outlined by each Customer.

What you will be doing…

Internal & External Reporting and Analysis

  • Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of validating our vendor performance to the customer, spot trends and reduce the number of non-compliance violations.
  • Proactively identifies areas of potential risk of non-compliance and works with internal teams to ensure vendor guideline compliance to avoid penalties through various portals and supplier scorecards.
  • Timely disputing of invalid deductions through customer-defined mediums and following dispute to resolution.
  • Gains thorough understanding of customer routing guides and requirements. Communicates customer updates to internal and external supply chain functions impacted to ensure compliance and reduce fine risk.
  • Provides excellent customer service with effective communication skills both verbally and written to build and maintain relationships with our Sales team, Brokers, Customers, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Collaborates for best practice shared learnings and corrective actions with other Brands.
  • Weekly reporting on newly created deductions, dollar amount of open deductions and closed deductions.

Process Management

  • Partner with Accounts Receivable, Trade Management, Sales, Brokers, Customers, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Service departments to collect the required data to validate and resolve noncompliance claims.
  • Substantiate customer fines for validity tracking and escalate root-cause corrective actions across Supply Chain, Sales, Brokers, Brands and Customers.
  • Disputes invalid chargebacks and claims. Follows up until repays are resolved and corrective actions are implemented across departments accordingly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Categorize and analyze opportunities for improvements to minimize noncompliance fines.
  • Process, resolve, and report customer logistic deductions in HighRadius.
  • Governs resolution management; assign and follow accountabilities to resolution.
  • Learn and navigate customer specific guidelines and portals to prevent customer deductions.
  • Provide leadership by sharing knowledge and skills to cross-functional teams.
  • Provide visibility to fine drivers (customers, root cause, location, etc.) for management/ leadership

Do you have what it takes? 

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Associates degree
  • 3+ years Supply Chain Distribution related experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Resourceful in nature
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills (Excel, databases, visualizers)
  • Knowledge of standard warehouse & logistics practices and processes
  • Proficient in MS Excel and WMS software
  • Ability to administer multiple tasks

  • Experience with SAP
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash-process
  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or Business Management
