Job Description

The Material Handler locates and puts product away, pulls product for customer orders and loads outbound trucks with the use of a forklift. This role fills customer orders ensuring orders are complete, properly labeled, tagged or marked as required. Packing and/or palletizing orders and ensuring all documents are completed according to standards, guidelines and instructions. The Warehouse Associate performs all duties relative to normal warehousing activities to include: lifting heavy boxes and cartons, conveying finished goods, packing and loading, filling orders, operating mobile equipment, using scan guns and various types of office equipment. The Warehouse Associate also performs normal cleaning duties as assigned. Return unused materials. Responsible for placing pallet tops, banding and shrink wrapping skids of material. Moving trash bales and loading trash trailer. Use scanning equipment for inventory movement and placement in proper locations. Ensure proper counts entered into system.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to constantly, stand, walk and reach above shoulder level to complete tasks
• Must be able to drive a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience
• Experience using and RF scanner
• Computer skills
• Team player
