Description
The Human Resources Manager will provide full spectrum human resources support to the Corsicana Manufacturing Facility. The individual will drive the development and implementation of integrated HR programs that enable performance and ensure operational excellence. It is imperative that the person in this role model and demonstrate the company's core values to ensure a positive and productive work environment. This role has a dual reporting relationship to the Plant Manager and Corporate Human Resources.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the plant strategy, structure and performance in the delivery of a full range of human resources processes and programs to enable continuous improvement aligned with the business needs
  • Foster a results oriented culture through effective coaching and implementation of performance management processes and tools
  • Facilitate the performance management process to ensure retention and employee development
  • Develop programs to position the company as an employer of choice in the community
  • Oversee regulatory and legal compliance throughout all employee relations activities
  • Direct recruiting and staffing practices ensuring candidate quality and timely fill rates
  • Oversee succession planning, mentoring, and management training within the plant

Must be able to work some evenings and weekends

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive, professional level experience in human resources with a focus in staffing and employee relations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing people and/or leading teams
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish – oral and written (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a large manufacturing or distribution center environment of at least 300 people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and foster relationships at all levels of the organization
