Built in 1997 in the historic small town of Corsicana, TX, this facility produces "Only the Finest" chocolates and candies. This plant typically operates 4 days/wk (Monday-Thursday) and has 2 shifts in a climate controlled (67F) facility. During peak production times, the plant will occasionally work on Fridays and Saturdays to satisfy customer requests for Christmas, Valentine and Easter candy. Approximately 770 people are employed by Russell Stover Chocolates in Corsicana making it one of the largest employers in the county.

It began in Denver, Colorado as a candy business in the home of Russell and Clara Stover. The original candy, marketed as “Mrs. Stover’s Bungalow Candies”, changed 20 years later to Russell Stover Candies. The three principles of quality, service and value allow Russell Stover to remain “Only the Finest”.
Russell Stover Chocolates has sales in all 50 states and Canada. We operate 35 company-owned retail shops throughout the United States and at over 70,000 drug stores, card and gift shops, grocery stores, department stores and retails stores. In September 2014, Russell Stover Candies was acquired by Lindt and Sprüngli, a Swiss based international conglomerate sold in more than 80 countries with production sites in Europe and the US, distributing on four continents.
Employment by Russell Stover Chocolates is contingent upon I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification,and passing the urinalysis drug screen.
Monday - Thursday 4PM to 2:30AM
- Operates and Maintains machinery, equipment and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines, and instructions.
- Sets up equipment, observes process and activity in area or on line. Ensures product meets specifications per RSC requirements.
- Performs maintenance as required. Must have ability to read scales, rules,tapes and thermometers.
- Must be able to read and understand quality specifications established by RSC for each product and recognize deviations from those specifications.
- Assists, trains, directs and monitors other employees of area, line or team as directed by supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring SOP 222 is complete prior to start of shift, and then hourly.
- Responsible for monitoring candy weight, weight, quality and production rates.
- Responsible for ensuring supplies are available for production.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the machine.
- Responsible for machine condition and communicating any issues with the machine to the supervisor.
- Receives stores, secures, maintains, loads and delivers product(raw and finished) and materials as required by the area, line or team.
- Requires repeated bending ,lifting, stooping, and climbing up and down steps.
- Must be able to understand and complete paperwork accurately. Must have good record keeping ability.
- Conform to rules.
- May be assigned other jobs by plant management as required.

Basic Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead during a 10 hour shift
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for the duration of a 10 hour shift
