Description
The Account Manager on the Drug Team will represent Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid. The primary function is to plan, build and report accurate forecasts relative to seasonal and everyday items. This will include daily maintenance within our demand planning and financial reporting tools. The role will report directly to the Drug Channel Sales Director. This position will have daily engagement with the Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid Team Leads regarding customer specific needs and trends. Supporting Walgreens will be the majority of the time specific to planning, budgeting and analysis. The role is critical to the success of the drug team and the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve, identify opportunities, very detailed oriented and the ability to turn data into actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure forecast accuracy within all seasonal and everyday areas of the business representing the channel with focus on Walgreens.
  • Develop trusted relationship with Walgreens demand planning team (seasonal and everyday planners) including McLane team supporting everyday items.
  • Lead and develop collaborative working process with internal Russell Stover key stakeholders including: demand planning, purchasing, logistics, finance in support of Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid.
  • Build internal consumption and internal revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain demand forecast and financial forecasts throughout the year for the drug channel
  • Work with and support Customer Team Leads to develop annual JBP goals, seasonal buy plans and everyday line reviews.
  • Analyze sales data to identify strategies, sales opportunities, marketing efficiency (point of sale data from customer portals and IRI).
  • Collaborate with cross functional experts in Marketing, Demand Planning and Category
This role is based in Kansas City, MO. 10% - 15% travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in sales/account management and or sales forecasting/demand planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain
  • CPG (fast-moving consumer goods) experience in supply chain, forecasting, and/or logistics
  • Direct account management experience
  • Effective story building and public speaking for internal/ external presentations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective working with ambiguity and developing solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong collaboration and negotiating skills with both oral and written communication abilities
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and ability to use decision-making processes and judgment
