A day in the life…

As the Revenue Growth Management Analyst, you will support the development and execution of initiatives that drive profitable growth across our portfolio. You will focus on optimizing pricing, promotion, product mix, and trade spend by delivering impactful and actionable recommendations.

You will also play a key role in designing, executing, and maintaining robust reporting and analysis related to trade promotion management and revenue growth activities. By leveraging both internal and external data sources, you will identify opportunities across customer P&Ls such as trade efficiencies, mix optimization, merchandising effectiveness, rebates, and allowances.

You will partner closely with internal teams to translate Financial, Category, and Brand strategies into channel plans and work closely with Sales to adapt those planes to customer selling strategies.

This role will be based out of our office in Kansas City, MO.

What you will be doing….

    • Facilitate the RGM mindset throughout the organization and support best practice sharing
    • Execute the Trade Investment Structure and Bracket Pricing
    • Evolve and maintain RGM reporting and create the RGM analytical toolkit
    • Continue to evolve the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system to be leveraged for stronger revenue management and analytics
    • Improve the trade planning process and ensure a holistic view on trade decisions
    • Drive the pricing strategy, elasticity/modeling assumptions as well as the annual price review process within a cross functional environment
    • Establish the pack/price architecture with pricing slopes and set price guardrails.
    • Track and enforce trade promotion policies (net net price, promoted pricing, maximum weeks on promotion, etc.)
    • Provide guidance on event ROI criteria, facilitate evaluation of promotions & incremental trade spending proposals
    • Review and recommend retailer investment rates and trade budgets as well as trade deals and company policies to optimize savings
    • Focus on strategic responses to broad-based competitor price initiatives
    • Engage with Sales teams regularly to ensure Trade Strategy is being implemented
    • Leverage insights from elasticity analyses, trade promotion ROI’s, and category post-event evaluation, to lead scenario planning
    • Evaluate base and promoted pricing strategy and use findings to inform channel pricing strategy
    • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines during plant visits to support product quality and uphold food safety standards.
    • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the company’s food safety and quality objectives.
    • Promptly report any observed or suspected issues that may impact food safety, quality, or compliance to the designated plant personnel, to support timely corrective actions and maintain compliance.
    • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

Do you have what it takes? 

(Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in RGM or Commercial Finance roles
  • Experience in pricing and promotion management
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including the ability to analyze multiple sources of data, determine limitations of the source data and recommend action
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Time management skills to manage competing and changing priorities
  • Results oriented with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to travel ~10% of annual time

Do you stand above the rest? 

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Master’s in Business & Administration (MBA)
  • Experience in pricing and promotion management in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
  • Experience with AI tools in RGM or Data Science background
