Job Description for QA Lab/Set Up Tech - Assists in the gathering,weighing, and inventory of ingredients for kitchen orders daily.
Hours will be 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm with overtime during busy season.
Duties and Responsibilities: Listed in order, ranking the most essential duties first. Essential functions are primary job duties that are essential to the position.

Operates equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and proficient manner.

Requests, receives, maintains, weighs, bags, and inspects.

Must be able to read and understand process specifications, scales, weights, and volumes.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail.

Verify that process, specifications, from raw material to packaged goods, are maintained at acceptable levels.

Maintain high level awareness of area sanitation.

Works with employees and managers from all areas of the plant.

May be assigned additional duties by management as required.

Basic Qualifications

RSC Production experience

Basic math skills, reading, writing, good communication skills and good documentation skills

Able to multi-task, prioritize and detail oriented

Experience with and the organizing of batch set ups
Self-motivated and teamwork orientated
Able to read and prioritize daily schedules
Able to read formulas, order raw materials, do monthly inventory
Good communication with kitchen and ability to handle changes to the production schedule
Detail oriented, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and a sense of urgency for problem solving and continuous improvement.
•Ability to weigh and measure ingredients properly. Ability to use scale and do weight and liquid conversions.
Will report directly to the QA Manager.
